About Me

SLM
I am somewhat of an expert on US National Parks. I have been visiting them for about twenty years, and my count now stands at 48 (out of 61). Until recently, this was every National Park in the lower 48 states! When I say that I have visited 48 National Parks, I mean that I have actually spent time there. I am not a windshield tourist. Of course, I try to drive all the roads, stopping at the viewpoints, but my main activity is as much dayhiking as I can. My personal best total is 72 miles at Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia. And my personal best single hike is 15 miles at Glacier.
